how often should i train neck?

got a harness and some weights but dont wanna get sleep apnea so need some help

nah 1:1 neck is key. I ascend hard whenever i use a scarf bc of my skinny neck. Or do u mean the sleep apnea? bc that is not cope lol. More muscle on the neck can lead to ur airways getting clammed ish. And i aint sleeping w no air mask

my neck is pretty wide and ive never done any exercises it’s all genetic

u can have it geneticly yes but u can also easily train it for ur desired thicnes

U natty or not? If ur not natty dont train it. It will grow anyway gets enough stimulation from upper back exercises, lateral raises and anything that puts strain on the trapezius. If ur natty from wht I understand U can train it multiple times a week but still don't go over the top with it because of the down sides like sleep apnea. Also frankly a big neck doesn't rly look right unless the rest of ur body is large.

my frame is very wide so i rly need a bigger neck. ty for the help

i know but i don’t think you can train it
why would you not be able to train
all people in martial arts train their neck and have thick necks
neck muscles hypertrophy like the rest

I used to grapple (judo and bjj) and trained neck once a week
