I recently made a thread about this

But still some retrads like @looksmaxxed @romanstock can't stop coping with their WN drivel and fail to understand the broader picture.

The entire US stock market is dependent on one single company now that most people can't even invest in. OpenAI recently became one of the biggest startups in history and nearly every single company in S&P 500 is dependent on it. Don't believe it? I'll explain

Microsoft is OpenAI's biggest investor and provides all cloud infrastructure through Azure data centers

1000106164

AMD and Nvidia are in competition to supply AI chips worth billions

1000106166

Oracle is also building an absolutely massive supercomputer cluster called stargate exclusively for OpenAI

1000106171
1000106169

Even OpenAI's biggest competitors like Google, Microsoft and Meta are working with them.

1000106172

Broadcom is designing custom AI chips for next generation working with them closely to scale the system to another level

1000106173

Even smaller companies like core weave are providing GPU infrastructure and numerous more companies indirectly tied to it.

This year alone OpenAI signed $1 Trillion worth of deals in dependencies.

1000106165

And here's the scary part of OpenAI fails to become profitable before it becomes public. It's sinking thr entire US tech sector along with it.

OpenAI is right now burning through billions of dollars of computing resources to power it's engine and investors are literally betting trillions of dollars on its success if the AI bubble bursts before OpenAI generates profit the tech sector in the US is finished. GG. That's how powerful this company is. There's literally 5D chess being played on so many levels in the real world but niggas here are still arguing about the most pointless shit.

True, but you can indirectly invest in it since the ecosystem is very dependent on each other (NVIDIA/Oracle)

Thank you, enjoyed the read.

You could probably tell by my threads that I've recently become very interested in OpenAI and AI in general. It's a very compelling topic.

I wouldn't mind seeing more threads about it, especially seeing as AI will most likely structure our world in the next years as we know it.

Very low but not zero. OpenAI’s revenue is growing fast and demand for AI tools is real not just speculation but compute costs are massive. If profitability lags too it could trigger a sharp correction in AI related stocks. My job wouldn’t disappear overnight because it's not directly tied to it but innovation and growth will slow down a lot

The picture is more extreme than I thought. Before OpenAI, it was these corporate giants like FAANG that were seen as the monopolists of the digital world. Now OpenAI makes these tech companies rely on it, the king of the kings, but it's not obvious because of these dependency chains but everyone ultimately wants AI so it's essentially one way, the demand will give them credit and reputation.

Classical corporate raider strategy, operate on mass losses for a while, capture the entire market and make everyone rely on you.

I slept through most of the biology lectures in high school tbh. It's rote learning and that is something I genuinely hate. Chemistry was decent but still not something I like.I did take the college level course that all engineers have to take. It was called Engineering chemistry or something. I remember the atomic structure, thermodynamics bonding kinetics etc.

extremely high quality thread, please make more stock market threads like this. i don't know if they'll be able to sell to everyday people while still being profitable, it's an insane bet simply because of not even energy and money being used but also the vast amount of water being used to cool these clusters

Whats scary is that all the people behind it are Jewish like Sam Altman and many of them are involved in the occult and satanism.

OP believes in the AI bubble :ROFLMAO: it's just getting started nigga, it's going to takeover all jobs, you can't possibly put a high enough price on it. I'm already seeing the prepared military psyops of both promoting and countering the planned AI rickburners 'AIs aren't human, give us human dignity!' This tech has already been developed, they're just rolling it out into society now and it's going to be a fast roll out.

OpenAI's problem is that it doesn't have the access to the same eesources as Google. They have the talent and they have the product. The issue is more so on the business side. Should this overvaluation of AI products burst (which is not guaranteed at least when it will happen), OpenAI doesn't have anything else to utilise as a reliable cash cow to coast through thr bear run. The same issue is with Anthropic, Perplexity and other European companies that handle AI services or products. Their valuation is impressive but unless the products are actually rapidly integrated into every sector and not just the ones which are heavily overrepresented in public media, it is prone to being burst. Either that or they start charging properly for their services in accordance witg the costs to run their models. Apple (even with no AI), Meta, Google and to some extent X will be fine. Google will most likely continue their broadstroke approach to funding all sorts of research. Nvidia won't be hurt as much but even if they do, which is not unlikely, they can bounce back because they have CUDA and data center computing to help them float. OpenAI needs to desperately broaden their business. Being a specialist only works at certain levels. At the scale they are operating, they still dont represent much at other avenues than AI
