Yes, this may be water, but I still felt like I wanted to discuss this since it's interesting to think about.
Also, this only really applies if you're at least MTN, since it doesn't really matter below that.
There exists a bias where people tend to look at the left side of someone's face. This is to others what to you is your right side. Let's say you look in the mirror. What you percieve as your right side is what other people percieve as your left side. However, you still have this bias yourself and apply it to yourself.
This is "obvious", but in reality not so much since many people think they know this but don't really apply it when it comes to putting it into practice.
Sometimes you will make your percieved right side look worse by, let's say, sleeping on it. As a personal example, my percieved right side is the side of my face I sleep on. To maximize my outwards appearance, I should consider sleeping on my percieved left side.
I've also noticed that if I decide to part my hair down the "middle", what the middle hair part is in my mind ends up being more of a 70/30 part. It's important to take notice of this for other aspects of your face, as you have to remember that your right side should be your priority in looksmaxing, since others will percieve it as their left, and that's the side they will notice more.
