Most people in my school already have one.

Everyone will look at me like a subhuman just bc my retarded parents said i need to focus on exams when i couldve done both at the same time.

Commute wise im fine its the social factor thats making me cooked.

Are u from the UK? I think in America its a more common thing to have it early. I would say 75% of 18year olds are doing tests or have one in my area atleast. U can drive after u turn 17 here.

In my case im going to posh uni so everyones gonna have a BMW prob.

Functionally everything is ok my country has free public transport for under 23year olds.

I will feel like a loser tho.

Cars cost money to maintain and cost so I will prob end up getting a car at ur age if not later. License hopefully much earlier.

Did u experience a failo from it? Or does nobody care

Bro same. Its actually brutal for me turning 18 and still getting treated like a fucking child. Seeing ur peers experiencing adult life and all the benefits while falling behind everyone. My parents wont even let me out to go somewhere for 3hours.
At least learn how to drive
Will do as soon as possible.

in uni it doesnt matter much seeing as most uni people are city people. every city person i knew didnt get a car until they were 23-25. i was raised rural though so i had to start driving before the legal age to drive, i was driving my grandpas old car everywhere when i was 15/16 cause theres no public transport in my area

yeah i get you on the village friends part. it would be legit impossible for me to go anywhere without driving. when i was like 12 i had my mom drive me places which is fine but at 16+ that would be fucking embarrassing i started driving at 16 or even earlier
sometimes i wish i grew up in a city to have good public transport but i got told public transport smells awful, drives slow as fuck and always has loud insentient junkies on it
i wouldnt know as i only took a bus or a train a few times in my life

Atleast in my area its not often public transport is loud or stinky. The biggest problem is the times. Like u have to get there on a certain time and the bus might be early or late for example.

It becomes embarassing to get driven by parents when some people already have cars. Thats the main reason I want to get a drivers license as soon as possible. However there is a 6month waiting list to even get a test.
