I was on caloric deficit today and man i could barely make a proper sentence . My brain workers slower then usual i dont get how people stay productive have social life while starving .

getting lean pretty easy just staying lean is where the brain fog and hormonal problems come in, only way to stay hormonally normal is by a eating in a large calorie surplus and burning your way to maintenance

Caffeine and nicotine
 
Stimulants but up to some point only, after few days or weeks they will give you adrenal fatigue if your are in a caloric deficit from having low appetite on them (nicotine, caffeine, amphetamine etc)
 
You're only on a deficit at night you idiot. You should go to bed on an empty stomach, but it shouldn't rumble. The rest of the day you should avoid feeling too hungry

Depends how low, 8-9% is attainable. Lower than that is not and it's also dangerous. The only time I achieved it was by drinking only coffee for 2 days. I usually felt like shit until I gave up and bulked to 9-10% or so. I didnt even feel hungry
