How people get fooled by lens distortion is beyond me

It reminds me of a fly being fooled by light transparent windows or a moth by lamps.

If your brain doesn't automatically correct the distorted proportions into what they would actually look like in real life through the lenses of your own ugly bug eyes, then you undoubtably suffer from some incurable mental disease.

Especially after having been in touch with technology for so long.
