How permenant is Accutane?

My face is oily af and I have mild acne. Tried bullshit creams and antibiotics none are permanent and don’t help beyond a maybe 50% reduction. Is accutane really the “miracle drug for acne” that destroys pimples forever

It does work,i had very severe acne a frew years ago and accutane got rid of it all in about 5 months.Tho it doesnt get rid of acne forever,u can still get some pimples after ur done using it

1. What was ur dose? 2. Did it affect height growth?

dependeds, but it’ll most certainly come back after a year or 2 depending on dose and duration of the treatment

i started at 10 mg and added 10 more each month ending in 40 for month 4 and 5 i think,tho the dose u take will depent on what your dermatologist tells you

2. Did it affect height growth?

I dont think so,i kept growing after taking it
