How realistic is the mirror really?

Some say it's the most realistic, if i ask people if goodlooking fotos of myself are realistic to my irl self, they often say they look a bit better tho, even tho these fotos look worse than i see myself in the mirror. So is the mirror really that realistic?

i wondered about this question a lot back in the day too but it's very easy to solve take a friend with you and first have them look at the mirror while you are looking at it then turn your face towards them and ask how much of a difference there is

Bro, the thing that lets you see yourself most realistically is a non-reversing mirror (flip mirror). Hold a mirror to another mirror and look at yourself through the second one; that is your true self. The back camera isn't fully real, and neither is the front camera. A mirror is real, but it shows you the image in reverse, so you actually both see and don't see your 100% true self. That’s why a flip mirror is the best.

a flip mirror isn't realistic... you see yourself far more ugly than you are, yes a flip mirror objectively is most realistic but subjectively it's not. People rate me abt top 25 - 30% of people, in the truemirror i look like bottom 1% subhuman

Bro, the reason for this is perceptual, but seriously, people see you exactly like that 100%.

yes like i said, objectively it's the most realistic, but subjectively it'S not, like i said i look like an absolute subhuman in the truemirror even tho i look good in mirror and photos and people rate me good.
So it's realistic for seeing you objectively but with your perception coming in it's not realistic for knowing your attractiveness
