How should i grow my hair out.

Been growing it for 3 months from buzz cut. I only shortened the sides about 1 month ago. I use expired baby shampoo to wash my hair and i wash it with shampoo 3 times a week and the other days i wash it with water only. Which sampoo and conditioner should i use and which hairstyle would fit me best .how many times a week should i wash it a routine or something i need help. Is my hair damaged or healthy from the pictures and what type of hair do i have.
