How tf do I fix my bite?

Not trusting an ortho as all they do is make you cucked. I have a slight overbite and an obvious cross bite with a narrow top and bottom palate. I was thinking that a palate expander would fix the top but what about the bottom? Also wouldn’t fixing my overbite recess my maxilla? My cousins braces recessed the fuck out of him holy. Dude was mtn and went straight down to sub-5

My ortho is black pilled. First day I went there she said: "You're recessed, you need jaw surgery. Braces will only make your teeth straight so I'll give you orthodontic treatment to prepare you for surgery". Goated. Now I have bimax planned in 2025.
