alright i see what you mean, thanks

then u can find ways to make the conversation more desirable. a few things i do, but obviously just have a bit of personality it and figure out stuff urself. here are some of mine:
1. personification. everyone knows wut this is. no one ever really uses it because school only teaches u about analyzing it. i mostly do it to soften bad news or mistakes. if i lose something, they ran away. see? or if someone tells you about their interests or something, u can sometimes personify them. the way people feel towards things makes them easy to imagine as characters acting certain ways.

2. huge misunderstanding. the lower tier of this is to play dumb when someone tells you theyre doing something. force them to say more about what they said, so u have more to run with if u get stuck. the better tier is to go on with what they said, but do so completely wrong. someones getting a squirrel trap. be shocked, you didn't know they eat squirrel.

3. vocabulary/sentence structure. just using adjectives and stuff where they aren't usually used opens a few doors. felonious pencil. glamorous water bottle. sometimes thats gunna lead to personification later. and shifting around sentence structure sometimes makes things awkward or makes u word things unusually. makes it intriguing.

those are just some ways i do it. i was a big scary fella so i mostly learned towards childish stuff to make me less intimidating.

TALK SLOW. obviously not everythings gunna come up instantly. there's no shame in taking a second ti think. maybe use a filler word, like a slow "well" or hmmm. i mainly just use facial expressions.

none of this came naturally at all btw. i was freakishly awkward and bad at conversation and originally came up with rules like this to kinda train the autism out. took like 3 months til it started feeling pretty normal. just try to never make conversation solely about conveying information. that strips the humanity away
