I am the same. I struggle to disconnect from the internet and just study. I never used to several years ago.

What helps me is to go to the library with no phone and no laptop. Don't let your brain convince you that you need your laptop to study, you don't. Before computers came along, people were using books only to study and it worked just fine for them.

i'm afraid this is for life

i managed to get a job and i stil struggle with this not every day, but every hour

Dude u finished law which is hard af u must know the secret to stop procrastinating

i had to sacrifice my social life/sex life/free time in my early 20s because i was too prone to rotting and doing absolutely nothing for weeks

cant even perceive that as an accomplishment when i know guys who were
- partying 2-3 times per week
- had a couple of hobbies
- worked out almost every day
- had girlfriends 99% of the time
and managed to graduate before me anyway

i dont think i know a single person who really changed their mentality from that of a rotter to that of a responsible, organized hard-worker or vice versa in my life

Depression bro. Don't be too hard on yourself. It's easy for them because they face no challenges to their lives
