It’s all a fugazi. You know what a fugazi is? ... Fugayzi, fugazi, it’s a whazy, it’s a woozy, it’s... Fairy dust. It doesn’t exist. It’s never landed. It is no matter. It’s not on the elemental chart. It’s not fucking real.

please give me a study or anything that proves it
study for what lol? the scientific definition of a calorie is the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of 1g of water by 1 degree celsius in a closed thermodynamic environment. the human body is an open, dynamic and adaptive biological system, not a closed thermodynamic one. your body is not a static calculator.

the body is an open system, but it still obeys the laws of physics. the first law of thermodynamics strictly applies to open systems, energy can change forms, but it can't just vanish. A calorie is just a unit of energy, and your body absolutely has to account for every bit of energy that goes in and out.

i'm not saying energy doesn't exist, i'm saying the CICO model is irrelevant to how humans process food. even when measuring calories with a calorimeter, you have to combust the food to ashes to get an accurate measurement, can your body combust food to ashes?

yes, cellular respiration is literally slow chemical combustion. your body oxidizes food into CO2 and water instead of flame and ash. the chemical energy extracted is exactly the same, which is why CICO is pure physics, not a metaphor.
