you attract what you are. people who are similar gravitate towards each other.

Making friends as you age gets a lot harder with time. you probably wouldn't even fit in such circles and feel like an outcast. it's nearly impossible to be in the 'it' groups if you take a remotely difficult major in university or in a complicated field.

try a hobby or something and try to meet people through that. people who like said hobby are bound to be similar to you in some ways.
