How tf do you style ur hair?

I can't get it to look the way I want it to, and THOSE FUCKING TUTORIALS ALWAYS SKIP THE STYLING SAYING "STYLE IT HOW U LIKE IT"

I want that type of volume and texture, but my hair either looks flat or it only gets volume on the top rather than the FRONT
