You shouldn't rely on hope, you should learn as much as you can and decide whether or not what you learn will help you reach your goal.
To clarify so you don't have too much hope they didn't just start making money. It took a few months before they start making money (they're doing good now) and they don't actively trade, they do the traditional shit of buying into the market every now and then till they in their 40s. They attend college, you can see they're not rushing to make a lot in a short amount of time.


If your plan is to make a lot of money in a short amount of time then you got to put in way more effort, risk, time, etc in whatever you do. Realism over hope, if you're planning to save 50k USD by 22-23 learn the numerous ways to reach that in that span then choose the most realistic way to reach that in your area and run with it. While my father could be classified as "gifted" he scored 135 on a professional IQ test, but still he decided to obtain a Phd in Philosophy instead of making money, and now he's poor. If you have a low IQ (poor mathematical ability), then you can easily make money in nonscientific fields (which don't require too much abstract thinking) with hard work. Making money online is a different story and it has little to do with IQ, it's mostly full time dedication.
