Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.

thisIP address or browser fingerprinting, or if you have the app installed then they can also detect alts based off of hardware identifiers (serial numbers etc).
So basically use incognito for life to use that shitty site?IP address or browser fingerprinting, or if you have the app installed then they can also detect alts based off of hardware identifiers (serial numbers etc).
Incognito will not hide your IP address nor will it spoof your canvas, audiocontext, webgl, font fingerprint etc. Incognito just stops your browser from saving browsing information locally, such as cookies, history, and image cache. So basically use incognito for life to use that shitty site?
@SecularIslamist Why did you JFL this post? Websites can see what system fonts you have installed via javascript.this

@SubSigmaDo they have an algorithm, or does someone have to report you? I had this new account for a few months and it got banned out of nowhere. Shits pissing me off tbh.

Hardware detection is only really possible if he has the app installed. Only hardware related info they can really get through your browser is your GPU model if you have WebGL enabled, or the amount of CPU cores and RAM you have but the last two are inaccurate metrics. It's most likely a combination of IP address and browser fingerprinting.I doubt it's IP. If they banned based off IP that means that someone would get banned just because someone else on the same wifi got banned and that's terrible for business. Probably hardware detection, but I'm surprised this is happening at all. I have so many banned reddit accounts and my alts never get hit for no reason. You sure you're not calling people niggers?
What fonts, what if you don't install any fonts.this

They can see all the fonts your OS ships with. What fonts, what if you don't install any fonts.
What fonts, what if you don't install any fonts.
what anonright said + some applications, for example, discord, can install additional fonts, they can see all thatWhat fonts, what if you don't install any fonts.
I have just regular Windows, like almost all the other people, no special fonts here. They can see all the fonts your OS ships with.
@SubSigma did you do it?@SubSigma
- Install Firefox
- Download the Canvas Blocker extension (alternatively you can set the privacy.resistFingerprinting flag in about:config to true, but as far as I know this only protects against the canvas fingerprinting; (it does a few other things aswell but I doubt reddit uses it for alt detection) if you enable this flag then disable canvas protection in Canvas Blocker.
- Configure its settings and make sure the following is set: "Protected part of the canvas API" set to readout, and "Protect audio, DOMRect, SVG, TextMetrics API" are ticked (this will randomize these fingerprints everytime you refresh the page). I would untick "Protect screen API." Leave the other settings at default unless you know what you're doing (most settings are hidden anyway unless you have "Expert mode" enabled.
- Download Font Fingerprint Defender and untick "Show/hide desktop notifications"
- Disable WebGL by setting webgl.disabled to true in about:config or get WebGL Fingerprint Defender (don't know how well it works because I haven't used it, I recommend just disabling webgl although this will break a few websites)
- Make sure you create and use your accounts on a different IP (you can use a VPN but keep in mind others will most likely be using reddit on the same VPN server as you so you could still get flagged)
There are similar extensions available for chromium based browsers but they're not as good. If you want to do this on a chromium based browser, you can use brave as it has built in fingerprinting randomization.
I just used tor and proton mail. I subbed to most of the subreddits I followed and haven’t gotten banned yet, but I’m gonna be pissed if I build up this account and randomly get banned in like 6 months Jfl@SubSigma did you do it?
I didn't think they would allow you to create an account using tor.I just used tor and proton mail. I subbed to most of the subreddits I followed and haven’t gotten banned yet, but I’m gonna be pissed if I build up this account and randomly get banned in like 6 months Jfl
