How the FUCK do I socialize

I can ofc talk to people and I’ve gotten better at socializing while being nd but idk how to just talk to people for “fun” I can talk to people that i already know well, or people that i have to talk to for school stuff such a projects but i strictly talk about that. I cant cold approach someone and talk to them, even if ive sat with the same person for a few months i will never talk to them unless i have to or they talk to me first. Any tips?

I used to be in the same situation and i've made long-life friendships with this method. Have a genuine compliment for them, they'll usually thank you for the compliment and then ask questions about the compliment for example if you told someone "I like your pants" they say "thank you" and you say "Where did you get them from" thats a good conversation starter and just kick it off of there but make it seem natural and if its in a classroom setting just keep having conversation with that person and over time there will be a connection now if its a stranger we thankfully live in a day of social media so after the conversation ask for there instagram ( snapchat is less interactive than snapchat) ps ( only good for hoes) I hope this makes sense. let me know if you need more advice.

Thats kinda the thing tho like i can say ez conversation starters, also talk abt my day but idk how to progress. Same for when my nd wasnt as bad and i used to talk to bitches even if they wanted me first, idk how to get further into or out of the talking stage

for me i always brought diary of a wimpy kid or other popular books people liked and i would read it in class and some people would notice and only a little will start the conversation with me and they would say "i saw this book at tiktok" i would say "really no way" and i would say come look its very good and after 15 seconds of her reading the book i would say my name and say whats yours
