How The Fuck Do I Tell My Strict Parents I Want to Go to College at 25?

I’m almost 25, and I need to tell my parents I want to go to college, but I know they’re gonna lose their shit. They’re insanely strict, and I can already hear them saying, “Why the fuck didn’t you do that when you were 18?”

After high school, I wasted some time, then did a degree that took longer than it should have. Now I’ve been drifting for a while, just doing short courses here and there, but nothing serious. I’ve realized I need a real degree if I want a future, probably in business administration or finance, but bringing this up to them is gonna be a nightmare.

They’ll throw every insult at me, say I’m lazy, that I wasted years, that I should’ve done this ages ago. I know I fucked up, but I want to fix it. The problem is, I don’t even know how to approach them or when to bring it up. If I don’t do this soon, I’ll just rot forever.

How the fuck do I get them to take me seriously and not just shit all over me?
