That shit feels so fucking painful when you out the bar on your neck, people say they don’t feel pain, how?? Of course your supposed to rest it on your back and not really the back of your neck but don’t know how to do it.

You are supposed to keep your entire upper back tight and shoulder blades pinned back which should make the bar rest on your upper traps.

Your form is likely poor, watching a tutorial on Yt or ask someone in the gym how to do it.

It used to happen to me too, especially for front squats, but eventually it stopped, not sure why. You can try this, it might be considered a "pussy solution" but I see some people in the gym use it:

Then you're probably too upright/forward. You need to position yourself so the bar travels in a straight vertical line

You can have a bench press move like butter but be crap at other lifts
Because bench form is easy to get and even if you have bad form you can still push the bar up and down. Even if your bench press “moves like butter” you’re still dyel. Squat is a very technical movement that requires activation of the back, legs, core, and hips in unison. It takes time to get good at it. Everyone can learn to do it properly with enough practice but you won’t keep practicing because you’re weak

Yeah I am definitely doing something wrong then I need to fix my form asap or be stuck like this forever
 
Listen, I’m messing with you calling you dyel and whatnot. But as a beginner you need to be doing compound movements to put on strength and mass. Keep practicing squat and deadlift and film your form until it doesn’t feel awkward anymore. The problem is you, not the exercise.

Your just have poor legs. Start doing regular simple squats, then hold some dumbbells and gradually increase their weight...

just lay it on ur squeezed traps bruv, it hurts in the beginning a bit but ur body gets used to it
ur neck bone area shouldnt be hurting after tho if so ur doing it wrong, gotta squeeze the traps nice and tight make sure ur holy body is tight af during the movement

you get used too it it took me a whole year t get my squat form right
 
Low bar squat mogs and you can push more weight , tuck in your elbows
 
Because you need someone to spot you
