exactly. where I live, it's a different world compared to the average slums of delhi. I did a survey once( for school) and the GDP per capita came out to be around 30k USD, that too non PPP adjusted.

It's true. Not 50 But Two Most Influential Ones are Ambani and Adani. Both from Gujarat where Modi is From. The People in Poverty don't care about any development not being able to live a good life. Political Parties give money like welfare are most are happy with it. India will never be a 1st world country with Good living standards.
