I only did heavy pressing and pulling and curls for years my joints went to shit and I have muscle impingement due to lack of mobility stretching and range of motion exercises.

I gained weight due to scapular impingement and in ability to workout like I used to. The only thing that didn’t go to shit are my knees because I barely ever hit legs.

TLDR. Make sure you do more stretching and mobility work than heavy weightlifting.

Iv heard they have their own injuries
Sports rape your knees look at footballer they all have to have major knee surgeries

I’m still yet to have any major injuries from the gym as long as your safe and doing weight you can do you’ll be fine

Nope the more you contract the muscle the tighter it gets and the more you need stretching and mobility work to counter act it.

mirin mirin man, when you do box squats how many sets and reps you do for example the day before your training session?
I just do what’s on my program different each day

usually anywhere between 75~90 percent of my max for 3-8 reps usually
