How the hell do you fix black hair?

I have 4a-3C hair and at the front it is so short than in the back and it always coils up what procedure should i do to get lighter curls? I want these type of curls

But it depends on your pheno, wavy hair looks weird on black dudes but if you're mixed or just have white skin then it's alright

depends how black you are. if you are not mixed then dreads or waves would look better.
