Try to initiate eye contact -> if you both make eye contact, give her a quick polite smile -> based on her reaction, choose whether to approach her afterward or not.

Or you could just get like your most chopped hb of all time, have him approach her, she'll prolly turn him down, then you wait for a couple minutes and approach her yourself, making you look like the better option by comparison.
