There have been people posting photos unaware that the location where the photo was taken (often their home, school, gym, etc.) is stored in the image’s metadata. Here’s how to easily disable that feature.
How the dox part works in action:
(Now obviously I just manually added a location to a random photo of me, but that could always be you with your real location.)
STEPS:
Option 1: Turn off location for future photos

Option 2: Remove location from photos you already took

- Open settings
- Go to privacy & security
- Tap on location services
- Scroll to camera
- Select “Never”

Option 2: Remove location from photos you already took
- Open the photos app
- Tap a photo
- Tap the ⓘ (info) button or swipe up
- Tap “adjust”
- Choose “No location”
