This is extremely easy, all you have to do is ask the other person how does their room look like and then ask for selfie with specific hand sign. If you want stronger method than that then ask them for a selfie with specific number or complex words on paper or their hand.

If you do not want to sound weird or annoying then write that that you got scammed/that there are scammers on the app and you want to verify whether they are real or not.
