When hitting places it seems to pinch/hurt the skin which makes it a hurdle since it's agonizing to keep hitting the same spot.

How are you supposed to do so? For example under the gonions/ramus the skin is so tight/thin/pinched that hitting it hurts the skin like crazy.

The bone itself isn't hurt/no bone pain but SOFT tissue pain from this. Also, I can hit super hard but it shakes your skull/feels dangerous.

Fellow smashers, how do you keep hitting the same spot without enduring endless skin pain? Maybe I just have thin skin? Icing maybe?

And how hard do you hit? I tried softly and it seems a waste of time, feels like only doing it moderately hard over time would do anything.
