In your browser go to the extension part

go to manage extension

next download an adblocker

I use this one

once u have it'll look like this

click on block element and then click on the ad you want to block (all of them obv)

you should be good and ad-free

you could also buy a raspberry pi too and install + setup pi hole on it which keeps tracks of incoming DNS requests (in short DNS is the address you see in the search by for humans rather than the address used by routers and switches) and filters out every DNS request which didn't come from the page you wanted to visit but a different one (in short: these are the ads which are inserted to webpages) so it gets catched and doesn't appear. Pro is that you do this once and in that network where the raspberry pi and the pi hole was setuped every device automatically gets rid of ads, Cons are that it's a little bit hard to understand at first if you're a complete dumbass at networks and a raspberry pi which is capable of this lies between 50-75$, sometimes 100$, but as I said you do this once and you're set for life without ads on that network
