If you're able to get all that shit as cheaply as the stuff in this thread please post a link. From my understanding an olympic barbell and weight set will set up back at least 1k.

dicks sporting goods has a Olympic set with 300 pounds for 400 and squat rack is 300, you can also get both of these used and cut the price in half to 350

I built mine ages ago for under a grand total, all new stuff. If you doing it now I would suggest going on facebook marketplace, there's always someone getting rid of gym equipment for dirt cheap since it's a pain to package and deliver it.
