VeraCrypt

Download Veracrypt, its a free open source designed for on the fly encryption. So its just a program that helps you lock your files away so others can't see them unless they have your password. Think of it like creating a secret, locked folder on your computer. You use veracrypt to make a special file called contaienr, this file just acts like a locked box.

When you want to use your secret file, you mount this container with veracrypt by entering your password. The container then appears on your computer like a new hard drive. You can now copy, move, or save files into this drive. Everything you put inside is automatically locked as you save it. And it only can open it with VeraCrypt and the correct password.

If your done you simple unmount the drive. The secret container is now just a locked file again, and no one can see whats inside withour your password (also not the feds)

and BOM EVEN IF the feds raid your house they can't find shit on your computer (if they don't get the passw.)
,just move the tor browser, vpn, literally everything that you use to buy your shit into that folder and your good.

VirtualBox

VirtualBox s a compltely free open source software that lets you run multiple operating systems on a single computer at the same time. It does this by creating simply virtual machines so just software versions of real computers. Each Virtual machine acts like a separate, isolated computer with its own files etcetc.

I use VirtualBox while buying shit since it just keeps it separate from my main real computer. This isolation helps your protect your real files and identity. But thats not the main reason i use it.

The Main reason is simply because you can set up a virtual machine with privacy focuse operating systems. The most popular ones are tails and wonix, both are designed for anonymous browsing and tor access. If something goes wrong, you can simply just delete the virtual machine and start over with no trace left behind.

I personally use whonix (since you don't need a USB stick for it and can simply run it on a VM)
but you can both use tails and whonix - it pretty much does the same shit.

- Whonix

Whonix is a OS that is designed for strong privacy and aononymity. It uses 2 VM's.
The first one is the Whonix gateway, that simply runs tor and acts as a secure gateway, routing all your network traffic through the tor Network. And Whonix Workstation, this VM is where you do your actual work,

for example: browsing offtopic

All Internet traffic from the workstation ( so the second VM ) is FORCED through tor by the gateway. If anything tries to bypass tor, it simply can't connect. Even if anything infects the workstation (so where you browse incel forums) it cannot discover your real IP address, because only the gateway knows it, and the gateway it self never runs user apps. Whonix blocks IP and DNS leaks, meaning your real location and identity stay hidden.

Whonix can be run on everything, macOS, Windows and linux

- Tails

Tails is a love OS also focused on anonymity and privacy. You may ask now ''why live nigger'', its called live because you boot tails from a usb stick or DVD. it runs entirely in your computers memory and does NOT touch your hard drive by default. So if you pill your USB stick out, the whole OS shuts down.

Obviously all internet connections are forced through the tor network, so hiding your IP and encrypting your traffic.
If you shut down Tails (as i already said above) everything disappears. So no fucking logs, no history, literally nothing left on the computer.

Both are pretty much the same tbh, both use tor to route all your internet traffic, making it hard to trace you and both come with security touls and are open source.

Mullvad has no logs, and even the feds tried to slam their doors but they were not allowed to come in and get the PC's
