How to care for 2b/2c hair

Im asian and everyone is predominantly straight haired so not really sure what to do about my hair. 2b/2c and I heard some people say hop on no shampoo but that kind of sounds goofy idk.

As for my problems I want more defined waves, more hydration, less frizz, and easier to control/create volume
