Just go and talk to them, it works with me, just have confidence and trust in yourself, that and smile, show your 8 teeth, if you has that type of smile, I have, but I have a narrow palate, they are happy when I do this, they smile, just be yourself and don't overthink

I don't like cold approaching out of nowhere the awkwardness would suck I think community events or social simple events going on is much easier way you can approach personally for me I feel it's more natural also I don't do cold approaching anyways.
