it's an oral antibiotic

some people on here have reported success with it or similar orals

tret 0.025 benefitted my skin but I only really noticed a major improvement when I cut out dairy, still eat meat etc & just generally try to eat clean. It's just harder for some of us to maintain good skin.

I have some hyperpigmentation that just won't go though, idk what to do about it. Can't tell in pictures/ on videos but can in person.

well, tretinoin is applied topically for acne, while isotretinoin is taken orally, which I assume would result in it being distributed better systemically. And just generally, isotretinoin is seen as sort of the last resort for severe acne by doctors and is very powerful (harsher side effects). Tretinoin is seen as mild and only used for moderate acne. As for the pharmacology of it, i don't really know... I did read somewhere that isotretinoin targets all 4 pathogenic processes involved in acne production and is the only drug to do so.... but i'm telling you from experience the shit works... and personally i didn't get any side effects. Just make sure you drink water, keep some chapstick and put on sunscreen

You'll probably just have to take accutane,if you just refuse that's on you I'd recommend.

Tret+ red light + blue light (30 mins a day)
+ Vitamin C and infodolan during the day, moisturizer at night.
Your diet needs to be clean asf with no sugar or greasy foods.
Make sure you are always hygenic every day (pillows shirts hands etc)

Or you could just take a fuckin pill.

Hyperpigmentation is going to be easier to fix than atrophic scars. For hyperpigmentation, ingredients to look out for include: niacinamide, azelaic acid, vitamin C, glycolic acid and if you want to go down the prescription route, hydroquinone and tretinoin.

Everyone's experience is gonna be different of course, but I wouldn't personally recommend antibiotics. They cleared my acne for the 2 months I used them but it returned few days after stopping them.
Plus they mess with your gut microbioma

Everyone always jumps to tret or accutane, you have to scale up. I used 5% benzoyl peroxide and a solid skin care routine to get rid of my acne and hyperpigmentation scars. Naturally the hyperpigmentation took longer to go than the acne but if you stick with it it will work. If benzoyl peroxide doesn’t provide any signs of improvement then scale up to the next available treatment. Try reassessing either your skin care routine and/or dietary choices.
