This NYE is actually the best it could be. In my country there are the highest restrictions possible and nobody can leave home or invite people to party. There are police blocks in all the main streets and in case you get caught you have to pay thousands of euro of fines. Pretty much nobody is gonna party. Indeed people complained a lot

But anyway as sad as it is I prefer remaining home. I went to some parties the other years when I was younger and I hated them. I knew few people so I barely talked and the others kinda avoided me or at least didn't make any effort to get to know me. In the end it was a very stressful experience because in order to try to fit in and not look like a total loser I tried to tag along in some circles of people talking but I still looked left out because they made no effort to ask me questions or making me join the convo...they all knew each other and only talked about some past experiences they did together so I couldn't say anything (probably they deliberately did that to make me leave). And in the circle they never make space for me so I kinda looked left out. This happened with many groups. In the end I didn't know what to do since everybody seemed wanted to get social with everybody except me. So in the end I tried to hoard the the toilet so at least I didn't look like a total weirdo alone left out from anything. But eventually some people knocked and had to leave. Tried to hide in other places and then go back to the bathroom. Time didn't pass and if I left I'd only look even more of a loser. I couldn't wait it was midnight

One of the worst experiences ever and the stress probably spiked my cortisol so much who knows for how long...I feel much better and at peace at home, comfy in my sofa playing or relaxing.

Parties are cope if you aren't good looking enough. And only Chad enjoy them because others don't fuck.
You are either with people who wants to be with you or you might as well stay alone
