Personally, I'd say that the most effective thing is to ignore them and not seem to give a shit ab them.
After she did some bs, if you let the girl see that you're vulnerable, you're constantly watching what she does, you are attentive, you keep talking to her, etc... it's over (they literally lose all attraction if they know that you are vulnerable).
I applied this on my exes and they were regularly more interested in me than I was in them; and they were more careful with what they did and said.
