How to cure dandruff?

I’ve struggle with severe dandruff for the past 5 years have tired shaving my head multiple times
Used ketoconazole shampoos salicylic acid shampoos absolutely nothing has worked I shampoo about 3 times a week my scalp flakes like crazy and I have to shower every morning and night to keep the flakes away went to a dermatologist they said I have Seborrheic dermatitis have prescribed me multiple things nothing has worked and my actual hair is extremely healthy
If someone can help me get rid of this I will be the most great full human in this world

I shampoo about 3 times a week

Stop shampooing as frequently, do you use conditioner after shampooing?
Are the flakes yellowish or more-so white? I confused my dry skin flakes for dandruff for quite some time.

dandruff is like a fungus or smt i used to have bad dandruff and i used the ordinary glycolic acid leave it on ur hair for like 40 mins before u shower do that like twice and hopefully it should help.

Yea I thought that too for sum time but I’ve moved cities and only shower and use lukewarm to cold water and I had my water tested and I have a water filter and softer the water is not the problem

alright, btw i rec doing it on 2 different days instead of twice on the same day to avoid irritating ur scalp. personally when i did mine i left a week between each application but idk if u feel like waiting that long
