I've had pretty bad KP on my face and skin since birth; it's been the worst these past few years. I'm 18. The dermatologist said to take urea (eucerin) and other creams like KP erasers with AHA. However, what seemed to work best (at least for a while) was working out mildly and going to bed with coconut oil on my face. I really don't know what else to do in terms of soft-maxxing.

Thought I'd post this thread asking for advice before going and maybe getting topical steroids. However, I'm scared of potential side effects like permanent burns and hyperpigmentation.

It's really one of my biggest insecurities and is having a significant effect on my life. So if I could get advice from people and what they've done, it would help a lot.
