How to deal with over emotional feelings while being in a happy relationship

I have a pretty healthy relationship with my gf, but because of my last, im insecure about everything. everytime shes a bit dry, i get overly emotional and overthink to a ridicoulous point, as an example after we finished calling yesterday i stayed up until 03:00 in the morning today overthinking everything. i really dont know how to deal with these emotions and its destroying me. i was thinking of basically starving, since i wanted to cut anyway. with that i will reach a point where i cant focus on the emotional stuff anymore, and it s more physical. that was my idea of it. does anyone have a better solution, cus i feel so useless like this

You have to get through this until you can trust that she is fine. If it's happened to you before it can easily happen again, and once it does, your "overthinking" will seem entirely rational in retrospect.

This is why you use Wolff's Law
 
Also, the reason you think so long on this is because you are both in denial and seeing signs, so you can't come to an accurate conclusion using your regular intuition. You are just too biased.
 
you have an anxious attachment style. look it up. Unfortunately idk how to help you with that.
