This guide will help you determine if your maxilla is recessed or not


1. sclera show under the eyes
(you must take the photo in eye level,everyone has sclera show when they look up)

2. mew indicator line
it should be 40-44mm ,measure it correctly.
44mm=bad forward growth

3.Friedman tounge position
A and B are ideal
this is more like a sleep apnea,airway test

4. weak chin, nerd neck,flat philtrum

5. tounge tie
(normal is the best,moderate is okay)
having severe tounge tie limits normal swallowing patterns etc. Bad swallowing patterns lead to point 8

6. tooth print on your tounge
(your palate isnt wide enough, ouch)

7.weird bumps on your palate,mandible
(your palate is incel tier narrow)

8.weird lines around mouth and chin. That is caused by poor swallowing.
Don't confuse it with overtrained depressors (overtrained depressors come from holding back your smile and once you start laughing again they go away within 2 weeks. So smile bhai)
