Maybe in some third world shithole country, yes. But, in normal areas of the world, where human beings don’t act like savage fucking apes, things don’t work that way.

I predict this will happen soon even in 'normal' countries, there are just too many immigrants from 3rd world countries, who try to game the system - they steal, scam, etc. because they know they can get away with it, soon the businesses won't be profitable anymore, the whole economic system will collapse, and eventually 3rd world methods will have to be applied and thieves and scammers will be treated just like in the poor countries.
Yeah, but with proper laws in place, this can never happen in countries that aren’t run-down criminal infested places. For example, if I faked a heart attack and called an ambulance and then the workers at the restaurant start to beat my ass and run through my pockets, I can easily sue that company for millions of dollars and win the case.
All these kind of frivolous trials are immediately rejected in my country, that shit doesn't work here, but somehow you see yourself as more 'civilized' for allowing this kind of stuff, by letting parasites to exploit the system and ultimately make it harder for businesses to operate.

Many have tried here all these ridiculous schemes and they rarely work...Having a heart attack just when you need to pay is too suspicious, and it's OK to search through the pockets of a person who looks sick, maybe they find there some pills you need to take, your personal info, or your phone, how are they gonna call an ambulance????
But it works regardless. No business that runs by sane people would ask you for money during a heart attack (or more logically if you fraud, an asthma attack) they'd tell all the people in the resuraunt how grateful they are to pay for the meal. In fact, both sides win.
