How would you acquire product? Even if some Colombian would sell you products and you somehow don't magically end up in a gore video or get offed by a Sicario for your money hen you'd have logistics to think of. Can you fly a plane? Own a boat? Will you smuggle it over the heavily watched boarder yourself? What makes you think they wouldn't just rat you out as bait for the DEA to catch while they move their own shit over the boarder?

Lets say you DO get a load of coke over the boarder then you'd have to deal with how to recruit people to sling dope.
How would you keep them from snitching? If you sling dope in someone elses back yard you'll need to defend your territory and that means having soldiers.
How comfortable are you with extreme violence? You are most certainly completely lacking in any violence capital.

So you sell business to business then? Then how would you vet people without knowing any criminals or have any buddies from prison? Who are you going to sell to and why would you trust them or even more important why would they trust you?


Only feasible way if you are not a career criminal s to do a darkweb style Silk Road marketplace.

I think very risky since you get long ass prison sentences. Boat is equally risky since you'll most likely have to stop at some shit hole country on the way where they execute drug dealers. If you got the balls for it, it could work but you'd still have to procure the product which would be risky as hell and dangerous. If you are in Europe you can just drive the shit over the boarder or take a buss or ferry and hope for the best.

Easiest would be simply shipping the drugs over the border to an anonymous Post box or something and hope for the best. (what I would do). After that initial load you'd have more money to start your empire. Maybe pay off some druggie foid to be a goalkeeper for your import/export business that you'll use to ship in more drugs hidden in legit cargo.

I'd sell it all online using regular websites by advertising trough different drug forums. I'd take bitcoin or cash envelopes as payment and use encrypted email services like Proton mail for all correspondence and only answer orders from encrypted services.

I'd pay druggies or guys who are in prison to use their addresses to receive money envelopes to and to ship products from. If one gets burnt I'd just leave it and use the others. They would never know who I am or see me.
I'd launder the cash trough gambling establishments or trough overseas shell companies that buy bogus consultant services or whatever from a legit company I set up.

They cooperated with the government at the lower level, which was just a result of local corruption. But that can build quickly and rapidly when they are moving expensive illegal substances that people would do anything to get. The cops, border guards, etc wanted a piece of the cut. Eventually even recruiting a lot of them.

Then it reaches higher up, the idea that the government doesn't care that much since money is coming into the country, but this is where it becomes a failed state. It got to the point where people like Escobar were able to amass so much capital, weapons and product as well as "employees" that they have power that exceeded that of the government.

At this point they could get away not being reprimanded when a stronger outside country like the USA etc wanted to put diplomatic pressure on the Colombian government to stop the trade or arrest the members. They could just bully the authorities.

In Mexico when they arrested El Chapo's and got literally large parts of their cities conquered by drug armies until they released the prisoner lol
