How to explain rounded vs Square Gonions ?!

Why some people have these big rounded jaw :

While others got a sharp square angle :

Tom cruise has this kind of jaw as well. I think it’s masseter size as I said. Alternatively some may say masseter insertion related. And of course how flared the gonion is will play into it.

no, it's only bone structure

my opinion : the rounded ones are less longer from profil, and wider front the front, like more on the outsides

the square ones = narrower but more forward growth

that's the only explain i've got but i doubt it..

any experts ?

masseter things is a dumbass thing.. you really think that a 150 pound woman like the posted picture or olivia wilde got that huge masseters ?

no it's bone structure, there is something that change the shape but i can't figure it out
