How to fall asleep fast?

Can you give me advice on how to fall asleep fast when you're not tired?

It's important for me because I have to get up very early and have trouble getting and maintaining proper sleeping patterns.
 
I think it helps when you cut off screen time (any type) an hour before going to bed even though I never do this myself.
Turning off your phone at night might help as well since I'm pretty sure the radiation messes with your brain.

No time for effort post, but :

1) The purported military method. Relaxing muscles etc, can be found online

2) Filter out blue light. Use Night mode or f. Lux, twilight etc.
Amber glasses, and lights

3) Not too many carbs in the evening. Insulin interferes with sleep. Better for getting ripped too. Not too much whey in the evening, even the safer undenatured

4) Low dose melatonin can be tried. Under 1 mg; yes, less than 1 mg

No antihistamines; that includes doxylamine found in some Otc sleep aids, though it may be a little bit safer than others

5) Exercise but not right before sleep

6) Vitamins and minerals in the daytime. No heavy metal contamination (eg in oyster shell calcium). Don't overdose

I also need to get back up again in the mornings lol, which is already hard for me

Usually what helps for me is melatonin and doing some type of exercise around evening. Could be walking for an hour , bicycling, or lifting weights. Usually some type of activity tires your body and helps you fall asleep at night. I take melatonin at night and it knocks me out in an hour or so.

yeah, did this before lockdown when I was making detailed schedules for every day and it helped tremendously. I need to get on track asap instead of rotting here tbh.

Need to do the same, I've been rotting far too long here I'm really starting to fall behind with my courses and upcoming deadlines at uni. I need to fix up jfl but this site is addictive tbh.

yeah, same. Tbh I didn't expect that the situation will get better so quickly. But recently, I suddenly had to get back to work and I have to take exams at uni, it completely caught me off guard and I need to get rid of my bad habits asap, otherwise this semester will be disastrous.

Same. Atm, my internship is the only thing that's going well tbh but I have like 5 deadlines coming up in the next 4 weeks, I really need to get my shit together this week cause I've been a lazy fuck for almost 2 months now.
