Found out during that conversation that she's likely a bit older than me, since she already completed Uni.

She's wearing a ring on both ring fingers.

Is it weird to just ask if "the ring means something?"

That was the question. Meaning is it weird to ask it that way, or not. And if it is, is there a better way to word it.

I think I have very little to lose. Worst case she'll react weird and then I'll just sit somewhere else.
