How to fix a overbite at home?

I went to the dentist today and they said i have a overbite, but not too much to fix it with braces. They said that you can get braces but you have to pay yoursekf. Is that worth? And if not what are some other things you can do to make it better / fix it? Im 15

I'm 15 too, try practicing revers thumb pulling. I have a normal bite but in profile it looks like my lower jaw has been pressed.

do jutting and pull your front teeth using your lower teeth, like put your lower teeth infront of your front teeth (almost like an underbite) and bite and keep pushing your front teeth backwards and lower teeth forward, do this for a few months with god pressure and it will be fixed, you just basically apply the same pressure braces do but by yourself it just needs hardwork and dedication
