How to fix Acne + Will a mod cut look nice?

I have a few white spots, and acne scars on the right side of my face. I cleanse + moisturize every day and I use Paula's Choice BHA 2% salicylic acid every other day. Am I on the right track skinwise or are there better alternatives?

Also, I am trying to grow the hair on the back of my head to try and get some type of Mod cut. Would this suit my face shape?
