My hairs alot more damaged now after starting swimming and I plan on buying a swimming cap to minimise chlorine exposure so my hair isn't autistically dry. I've just oiled my hair and my curls are as defined as they were pre swimming, is there anything else I should know?

I have thick, pajeet curly hair. How often should I oil my hair? Twice a week so it minimises damage?

I have no idea I don't have super curly hair but don't cover the actual hair in oil unless you're in the shower and you're gonna wash it off just oil the scalp.

My hair isn't super curly either tbh it's a mixture of wavy and curly hair. I usually oil my hair and scalp and it fixes dandruff issues and makes my hair feel alive and moisturised. Only downside is, there's a normal amount of frizz.

I also have dry hair. I use coconut oil and it worked wonders for me tbh. My hair, even though I swim twice a week without a swimming cap is still more healthy then before I even knew I had a slight curl pattern

Coconut oil does wonders tbh. It's very underrated in the hair care community. If you have thick hair, using coconut oil will save you. Most people I see use mielle or cantu.

That's too drastic. I've gone buzz and it looked decent on me according to everyone I knew irl. My hair isn't completely fucked, just a bit too dry and possibly damaged to my liking?
