How to fix coloring as a ginger

I am a ginger but not like a hard ginger, I attached a pictures below on the kinda haircolor/tan level (obviously ignore it being a girl lol)

My question is how tf do I get good coloring? I can't really dye my hair or get contacts since where I live that's social suicide so I gotta work with my half ginger half brown hair

If I lighten the hair it will just turn more ginger bru
Maybe I can color my roots more dark or something

Never used it but ive heard that people say it makes their hair darker
