How to fix hyperpigmentation on Accutane

Title. I have hydroquinone 4% + tret 0.05% cream, can i use that while on accutane

Using tretinoin on isotretinoin will worsen hyperpigmentation instead of improving it, not to mention making your skin drier and prone to irritation. Use sunscreen regularly, specifically SPF 30-50+, also consider using niacinamide as it reduces the movement of melanin from pigment-producing cells to the surface of the skin, while also strengthening the skin barrier and calming inflammation.

I have had the same problem as you, I currently do 0.025% and 20mg isotret. TRET = for PIH / Hyperpigmentation, Accutane = active acne and permannt acne. SPF is a must, UVA rays mainly is the thing that darkers your PIH. B5 balm will also help you if u combine these 2

0.05% will help you, but accutane isnt going to help the specifi problem you have

so should i use 4% hydro and 0.025% tret cream while on 40mg accutane
