I'm hoping bimax + various midface implants will stretch my skin enough that they go away.

How did it possibly get worse? The worst should be neutral, as in no change. Did they move your maxilla backwards lmao?

Yeah grow a mustache and twist the ends up until they'll poke your eyes to hide NFs. Thanks

You have to understand a very important aspect when it comes to surgeries of that type. Your anatomy changes! The most unpredictable parameter in higher grade surgeries are the soft tissues. Nobody not even the best surgeon is able to predict how your soft tissue will behave once it was touched. Especially in osteotomies like bimax. And yeah here we are. My nostrils flared out and got bigger, my nose tip is now pointing downwards. My whole face looks more bloated than before and the nasolabial folds are much more pronounced. Even My upper lip shape and size changed.

Most people in here think waaaay to simple about surgeries of that class. To many unpredictable parameters involved. It's not as easy as moving a solid object along an axis just to change the position. Bones are surrounded by muscle tissue, soft tissues as well as fat pads

You still didn't say what your movements were

don't remember..
but it doesn't really matter since you've written that you HOPE for an improvement. And all I did was giving my 2 cents on that topic

???

If they move your fucking maxilla back then that would worsen your nasolabial folds.

They moved it forward to kill the last spark of hope which might've led you to assume that I'm an exception to the rule

Then you are the exception because they moved it forward and your nasolabial folds got worse. It's the opposite for the majority.

Deep injection of Radiesse in the pyrifom aperture and in the premaxillary space (will also lift your nose tip). Or paranasal/midface implant

Wont filler into the paranasal region make your face look more bloated?

Yes and it WILL migrate since its placed in soft tissue and not on bone

But radiesse works different, which is why it might work/be appropriate

I had kybella into my nasolabial arra and it removed some of the fat but not all

Filler wont migrate if its injected deep onto the bone. But the question is if it will look better or make you look bloated? @Deusmaximus

not that big of a failo anyway

But it’s complicated cause if you nuke your fat pads your naso folds will get worse… and there is not really bone you can inject into that area, it’s just soft tissue… you could get filler in your zygomatic processes, which will stretch the skin and make the folds seem less bad

Also I’ve had success using FaceTite skin tightening device

Lol you Lost The lottery

Wont filler into the paranasal region make your face look more bloated?
Hyaluronic acid fillers will make you bloated yea but Radiesse no. Radiesse gives a sharp bone-like effect and doesn't migrate (especially if injected deep on top of the bone)

But do you really want a more projected paranasal region? Is that really a good look?

Depends on your nose shape and width. A more projected paranasal region gives more depth to the face especially from a side view, which is a good point. But will also make your nostrils slightly widder (depends on the amount you inject). That's why paranasal implants are usually placed during a rhinoplasty.

Jawline, cheeks, FDA-approved for nasolabial folds . It is also used a lot in dentistry to fill teeth
